|What about this: I installed the game- including the patches, but without a crack-maybe a week and a half ago. Enjoyed playing it just fine until the night before last when Battle.net kicked me off complaining about connection problems. I'm on wireless, so I wasn't too frightened, but when I rebooted SC2 the aforementioned problem occurred- and it happened multiple times.|
I tried to fix it with a quick google search and edited my parameters a bit (check out http://www.lazygamer.net/pc-gaming/... to see what I did) and this allowed me to play for most of an evening. I end up being kicked off again in the same manner, this time being allowed to go back online after a bit (wireless connection acting up?), but after a while, it kicks me off AGAIN and THIS time it's gone back to the wacky missing-menu spaceship screen.
I don't think that what I did- change parameters to avoid the "melting graphics card" problem- ended up fixing my situation after all. FYI, I'm running OS X.
If anyone can help, it'd be godsend. Getting dropped from multiple matches is irritating on one level; not being able to play the game at all is completely different. And worse.
Trust me, it's worse.
