i plan to buy this game. i only have PC. i checked many website. 80% of them rated the PC version 1-2 stars and console like xbox 360, wii, ps3 got 4-5 stars.
PC users review, 95% if the comments said, the game is damn BUGGY, VERY long loading time, crash problem.
console users, none of them report bug issue. loading time fairly long, and no crash.
what makes pc and console version so different? damn UBIsoft, do they really think PC gamers are Beta Tester? and console gamers are the real gamers?
? for PC user, du recommend to buy this game? is this really buggy and extremely long loading time and crash frequently? hows the game?

i think you're talking about SC Double Agent (SCDA). There was no problem with SC ChaosTheory (SCCT) previously. FYI SCCT was developed by UbisoftMontreal while SCDA developed by UbisoftShangHai (China).

The "real" developer will be the UbisoftMontreal and Ubisoft given the NextGen version to a new developer and for me was a bad move. I personally loved the XBOX/PS2 version for their content, story and gameplay. The NextGen version was pretier but the PrevGen version is the best between the two.

For me the SCCT PC version is prettier than SCDA PC version when everything is on high. For some reason SCDA PC version not as pretty than the 360 version even when everything is on high especially the shadows. The only worthy mission is at ShangHai (duh!), other than that for me is just so-so.

Luckily Ubisoft has released with the patch for SCDA PC to patch the game. Still i think Ubisoft should give PC Gamers XBOX version of SCDA instead of the X360 version. sigh...

This game is short, long load times (even my Core2/2GB DDR2 struggle with the loading time), loading bugs and most importantly missing side mission coop game. For all its hickups, its a good buy if you are fans of the series (like me), they left us with no choice. Luckily the next SplinterCell:Conviction was back to UbisoftMontreal hands yeeaaahhhh!!!!
