Hey I was told on a previous post that in order for my problem to be fixed I need to slow my CPU down. First can it be done? Second if so how do I do it?
Any help would be helpful and Grately recived. Please if you decide to reply please to it in simple english as I have a limited computer speak knolowage.

Well dude, i must say this is an unusual request, most people whats to make their CPU faster, not slower lol...Before getting in drastic mesures as messing around with your processor's core (I did that on my laptop and i think it never worked the same again) try to instal the Vice City Pach 1.1, here is the link:

You don't need to change any settings...you just need "slow down" software to enable your system to play older games.

You could disable L2 and L1 caches in the BIOS.
That sure as hell slowed my P3 down to the speed of a 386. Took 20 minutes to boot into Windows XP, and wouldn't even start Vista, but DOS apps ran at a nice speed under DOS 6.22.
