Eek! Don't listen to Nikalus!
You cannot pair a 7900 GT with a 6600 GT because they are different GPUs. You can pair any cards together if they are the same series and version (e.g. 2x6800 Ultra, 2x7800 GTX). But since the 7900 and 6600 are two completely different GPUs you cannot pair them up in SLI.

Yeah, it's a shame, would have been nice to use my 'old' 6600GT for a bit of extra speed.
Second 7900 GT it is then (haha, not this month)

Sell the 6600GT. Many people would like to have it. "A bit of extra speed"????? Why isn't your 7900GT good enough? Is there a new game out there can use more than the 7900GT offers?

Haha, yeah, I thought the 7900GT would be good enough, then I installed Oblivion... Funny thing is I could have bought a 360 and Oblivion for less than the cost of the card. Oh well.

And this card is not good enough for Oblivion? Even on high settings? Wow, I need to find some benchmark testing on graphics with Oblivion. Yeah I am really into PC gaming and have not done much since the PS2 days but I might be crossing over sometime in the near future. :)

Yeah, I have one of the widescreen monitors (1680*1050) and Oblivion kills it on full settings, without AA or AF... I run at 1440 by xx on mainly Medium settings and it runs fairly smoothly... (3500+ 1024)
