That's an offbrand PSU, so if you want to go SLI, that must be upgraded first.

But to be truthful, you're better off selling the 6600GT and buying a new card, such as a 7600GT, 7800GT, or 7900GT. Any of those cards will meet or exceed 2x 6600GT's in SLI.

I'd never heard of e-POWER before either, but I googled it & was surprised to see that an e-POWER model turned up in the Tom's Hardware PSU Stress Test...& it did well!

But I agree with hero. Rather than adding another 6600GT, selling it & buying a better single card would probably be a wiser move.

Ok so say i would sell my 6600gt for probaly about...$150 Aus. On e-bay (considering i only brought it in January and my old motherboard wasnt compatibale so i got this kickass one, so ive only used it for about...3 months of this year)
Anyway, i could get a 7900gt 512mb from this Australian Place called PLE, (www.ple.com.au) For...$499...or a 256mb for $20 less, i think a 512mb is better...
If anyone has a opinion or other card suggestion please tell me, also whats the difference between the 7800gt and the 7900gt? (both 512 for example...)
and last but not least whats up with the PhysX cards, from what ive seen theres no DVI or VGA Input for the monitor...is this a add on for xFires or SLI's? (i no that sounds stupid...)

thanks,

I'd agree...

"If anyone has a opinion or other card suggestion please tell me, also whats the difference between the 7800gt and the 7900gt?"

7900GT is bigger, better, faster... :-)

To give you an idea, the 7900GT beats a 7800GTX.

If you want to save money and don't need this kind of performance, a 7600GT would be the way to go.

"whats up with the PhysX cards, from what ive seen theres no DVI or VGA Input for the monitor...is this a add on for xFires or SLI's?"

It's an add on card that computes physics calculations in games that support it. This offloads those tasks from the rest of your system. No games support it to my knowledge at this time.

oh ok, about the phyx's , and i might end up getting a 7900GTX either ASUS or BFG chipset, The BFG comes Pre-slightly overclocked and somewere about 670/1640 i think, plus it has 24 pipes, vivo, and some other nice stuff, and the best part is i can get it for a wholesale price because my mates dad is a lan setteruper...guy...anyway the point is ill get it for maybe $200 less which is good. xD

Check them out if you want,

http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?l1=2&l2=6&l3=269&model=1062&modelmenu=1

So far i think the Asus might be a smarter choice but then again the BFG has a LIFETIME Warranty but then again the Asus might be cheaper...
