I have 3 children with their own computers. Is there a way to play the Sims2 game without the Cd. My youngest will destroy the original CD in no time if I let her get her hands on it.

That's what 'No-CD' patches are for, go download the one for "The Sims 2" game.

well you can try going to one of these gaming sites: http://www.megagames.com/ and look into gamefixes, search for sims 2, then download the sims 2 no cd patch. It's simple, once you've downloaded it, just copy it into the folder of the game and replace the old crack file. (the one with the game logo but is not a .exe file)

bugsmom9, What you are suggesting is not only illegal, it is dangerous, as these cracks often contain harmful spyware that can infect your computer in an infinite amount of damaging ways. What you need is Gamedrive. Go to www.farstone.com and download Gamedrive v10. It is a program that tricks your computer into thinking it has more than one (or two) CD drives, allowing you to run up to 24 separate "virtual" CD drives (or as many as you can create before you run out of drive letters). It makes perfect copies of the discs you own safely and legally, so you can trick your computer into thinking the Sims 2 disc is in a drive, even though it physically isn't I wish my lawn was emo so it would cut itself.

I am not sure what you mean by cracks. I didn't know that what I was asking about is illegal. I wouldn't think that running the game on my own computer without the CD would be illegal. I bought the CD and I am using it myself. I guess I don't really understand that part of what you are saying. I don't know about this "virtual drive" thing. I have a hard enough time trying to download and run my antivirus and spyware programs.
