I am having a problem with sims 2. My computer recently had to be restored and i lost all my data. I had just reinstalled the sims2 and all of the expansion packs back on to it. I had no problems before the computer crashed but now i tried to load the game and i went into a neighborhood and some of the tree graphics were messed up. they looked like cards with the name coded on them. Only some of the trees had the issue and i think they were all from the original sims2. Then my computer shut the game down. would anyone know what the issue might be. I dont think its the computer because spore works just fine.

It would help to tell why your system had to be restored, it *may* have something to do with the problem. Did you reinstall all the drivers? Especially the motherboard chipset & video drivers?
