Ok, so I put my disc into the disc thingy, and i wait, and wait, and wait, and the window doesn't come up. I bought this game in March, I even returned it once, and STILL the new one doesn't work either. So, I try and try, I have DirectX too, and still NOTHING works Plz help me

what happens when you put the disc in and try and run it from the start menu?

what do i put into the blank space? Is there a code or something or is the code regedit or something else from the game's box?

To play the game if you have downloaded any expansion pack you have to play with the expansion pack its weird i know... did you try that??
Destiny =]

Look at the box- does it say "CD-ROM" or "DVD-ROM" in the black box in the corner?
Open "My Computer," then look at your different CD drives. Are they labeled RW? DVD?
If the Sims 2 Double Deluxe disc you're using is a DVD-ROM and you don't have/aren't putting it in the DVD-ROM drive, then your computer won't be able to read it.
It may be something else, but try this. Might be it.
Good luck!
EDIT: Eek! Didn't mean to rate my own answer. Sorry.

Destiny: The Sims 2 Disc and Nightlife are in one disc, so no. Ad Astra: On the box, It says I need a Video Card, I think I have one but I'm not sure. If i click on my computer, It says I have nothing in either the CD/DVD drive

Firstly, check and see if you have a graphics card or an integrated graphics chip. If you put the disc in the drive do you get a message telling you to insert the proper disk? Secondly, if you have a card that meets the standards, this is a job for www.reclaimyourgame.com. Since Spore's release EA has been dogged with problems and lawsuits in relation to SecuRom. The problem you're describing could be SecuRom. Thirdly, I know this has been mentioned above, but you have to make sure you have a CD/DVD Rom, not just a CD Rom. The game won't run on a CD rom, even if it allows you to install it. It may install but won't play unless you have a DVD Rom.
