Hi, i just got silent hill 4 and played throught eh first level (subway level) without problems such as slowdonws or chrashes. I got to the second level (foreset level)and now the game is lagging horribly.

Is more like the game will completly stop for 1 second and then continue normally without any problems. The thing is that these freezes occur very frequently even to the stent that they occur between a few steps..

Help!

What are the specs of your video card?

What make and model motherboard do you have, or do you happen to know what chipset is on your motherboard?

i played SH4, it has more graphic detail in forest than in subway station. what video card are you using, and also, win2k might be the problem. try to use winXP.

P4 3.2GHZ
kingstom 1GB DDR 3200
Nvidia geforce FX 5950 256mb
