Hi.. i got this game silent hill 3.I've heard so much about this game that i really really want to play it asap. But i when i play the game it gives an error vertex pixel shader support is required by the video card. i have NVIDIA GEFORCE4 MX4000 - 128 mb and 384 mb RAM. pls help me sort it out i really don't wanna buy a new AGP card. can't this problem be solved without changing my graphic card.

"can't this problem be solved without changing my graphic card" I don't know how long ago you bought it but the MX4000 is based on outdated technology. It's basically a stripped down version of the Geforce4 MX440. It only supports DX7 & uses slow 64-bit memory. It has no vertex shader support & only supports pixel shader 1.1 & openGL 1.2. You can double check by looking at this chart: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compar... The bottomline is there's no way you're gonna get this card to work...it's time to upgrade. And get some more RAM while you're at it. 384MB ain't nearly enough for gaming, it's barely enough to run XP decently.
