so ever since i got my new graphics card, ati 1650x pro agp, my moniter has been shutting off. my cpu is still on. if im listening to music it is still playing, and the only way i can get my moniter back on is by shutting off my computer completley. this problem seems to only happen while im playing games or shortly after i have played a game...hope you guys have some ideas of whats wrong

A tangential guess here - since the card seems to be directly related to the issue - is that your PSU could be involved.

Try this. Unplug any extra HDD & optical drives & see if you still experience the issue. BTW, is this an AGP or PCIe card?
