screen problem while im playing NFS

hi,i used to play need for speed undergroungd 2 and game worked great,but now when i try to play the same game on same computer i have a problem with screen.first screen is black and in left corner is grey square then intro starts and game movie but in the middle of screen is little square with the same game movie inside square and i can move that square with mouse and when i go to game settings i see manny squares on screen and i cant see letters and looks like big can somebody please help me because i don t know what to do...thanks :)

i had a similar problem last week with NFS shift on my friend's laptop. if you are running an nvidia gfx card and running the nvidia control panel then you have to go to that nvidia control panel and change the graphic settings to default. that fixed the problem for me and it might for you. good luck.

i upadate my nvidia driver and in control panel is option called NVIDIA Desktop Manager i dont know what i have to do

hmm, i didn't realize that you were running an older card.

the nvidia desktop manager is different from the nvidia control panel. if you do not have the nvidia control panel then my solution may not work for you.

are there any other games installed on your pc that have the same problem (or not)?

also, are you positive that the card you are running is a vanta?
