Take 2 interactive Gta: san andreas pc
October 19, 2010 at 00:33:58
Specs: Windows XP, 1GB VGA, 2GB RAM, Core2Quad
Now i wanted to complete GTA San Andreas.

But my new PC sux @ it!
1GB VGA, 2GB RAM, Core2Quad cpu.....
Windows XP sp3.
Can not play GTA in 32bit mode. Slower Gameplay, Delay, Lag, Low Framerate!
But OK at 16bit.
The problem is the game does not use resources i have!

(this is abt San Andreas, not about GTA 4. If i ca play games like Prince of Persia 2008, CoD 4 mMW, CoD 6 MW2, why can't SAN ANDREAS (too old! :p, no no GTA III runs well)

It does not use more than 200mb RAM!!! when i playing abt 1200mb ram is free!!!

but i played this game in 32bit with my old pc. (P4, 512ram, 128mb vga)

Google showed me that this is a common issue!!!
Don't know what is the problem!

may be Setup i (we) used is bad! (PaulpBaker release)
may be it is the OS. (for some games XP sp2 is the best. sp3 sux)
or hardware/driver problems!
or the bug with the game itself!

ya x4500.

but then tell me how can i Play games like
CoD 4 MW, CoD 6 MW2 and Prince of Persia 2008 in 32bit?

They all are way better than San Andreas graphically!

Do you think 128mb AGP GeForce FX5200 is better than intel x4500 for San Andreas?
(definetely not for other games, now i can play games like Hitman Blood Money without a problem which i could not play earlier)
