I was just wondering, do the same games currently installed on your computer work on different drives. Lets see, if I was to install the same game that is currently installed on another drive, and I installed the game on a different drive. Would it still work?

Because I'm currently downloading a game, but I currently have another version of it on my other drive. I'm just concerned, if the newer version that I'm downloading may not work, so I want to keep the old version on my other drive without uninstalling it so I can play it again. Because I lost the items required for it to install (yes I know, I'm disorganized)

So, this may not make sense to you, because it hardly makes sense to me. But forget the other "extra" information I said. (because I don't feel like backspacing all that work) and just answer the main question for me please. Thank you in advance.

If I get what you're saying then yes, it should. It's a different .exe pointing to a different location and the fact that they're on different drives should make any interference impossible.
