You really need at least one 8800gts card probably two in sli to get decent framerates.

best you can do to that 8600GTS is overclock it. Granted it's not going to make a world of diff but if you can squeeze out some extra fps then more is always better.

Download RivaTuner and up the GPU clocks by 10-20 mhz at a time, or use the auto-detect feature to get your highest clocks.. and subtract it by 20-30 mhz for stability.

Make sure your GPU's temperature isn't too high as it is now. Overclocking is going to reduce the life span of the hardware.. and will reduce it even more if the hardware is getting too hot and/or overheating. Signs of overheating or too high of an overclock would be artifacting, crashing, stuttering, etc.

It reboots as soon as i start the game unreal tournament 04 but it doen't do that in any other game, is that bad? or is the game bad?

That's a bad sign if UT04 runs fine at stock speeds. In that case might want to lower the GPU clocks.
