Pacman. I swear that game is so damn good. You're this yellow thing right, and you eat these round things, but these like... jellyfish things wanna eat you. If U eat a big round thing u can eat the jellyfish things. Gamespot gave it 9.5, editor's choice. Way better than Final Fantasy.

There are loads of quality RPG games out there. Baldur's Gate is a good one, but if you really want to get good RPG then you should go online and get World Of Warcraft. Amazing RPG.

Morrowind and NeverWinter Nights are two very good games.

Look for the release of 'Oblivion' in March

Guild Wars, Diablo 2, Everquest 1 and 2, RYL 2, World of Warcraft.... etc... The best RPG I played was Chrono's Trigger on my super nintendo system... You should try that out. Older games like Final Fantasy 3 and 4, great SNES games...

I don't know what you people are on. Pacman is heads and shoulders above WOW or anything else for that matter.

I agree with Baldur's Gate, there is also Icewind Dale which is essentially the same game in a different setting. Both can be had for budget prices.

My recommendation would be Guild Wars. It is a MMORPG, but you can do the entire game solo if you so chose. The only multiplayer aspect that you will see is when you go to towns. Plus it's free, unlike WoW, Evercrack, etc.

I'll say it too: Guild Wars rocks.

When they say it's not a "normal" mmorpg, they're right. It's more like a single-player RPG that you CAN play with other people. It's true, you can't take an all-powerful character and do anything, but you can get computer-controlled party members, and before long you'll succumb to the multiplayer aspects like the PVP. :D

Don't know if you're interested in just console or PC RPGs, but one game I just got for PS2 is Dragon Quest 8. I've never played any of them before, but this one is just amazing. They even make the "overworld map" fun to explore. :x

Morrowind!

It's so huge! You can play it for months.

The sequel will be coming out soon "Oblivionm"

I really mean huge.

It is overwhelming at times. It is not like FF.

It is open ended and sometimes that is a little overwhelming.
