I remember a while back I took someones advice on troublshooting my lag and I ended up doing more harm than good. Please, someone help me.. pretend im a computer dummy and help me figure out why I get such terrible lag? I can't host servers on practically ANY GAME! I can't hook up my PS2 to the internet(without going thru the stupid router) and succesfully play without lag and frequent disconnects while others are playing juuuuuust fine. I should be getting NO lag, I live in western NA where the Cable is fast as hell. I have a linksys 54mbps, I can't say much else... except I believe there are some limitations this router is putting on my connection speed and efficiency! Please, someone give me a dummy translation of what to do.
