Iv had this problem for a while now.. I thought it was my ISP being a dick because my modem was playing up and loosing half the packets sent.. but now thats fixed.

Basicly in game i can stand around and talk fine.. but as soon as i start to fight players my latency slowly rises and rises and rises untill it unplayable because of lag. the only solution is usualy to not PVP for a few hours untill it goes down.

My Gcard is a GF6600GT, its never had problems playing wow before.. I uninstalled the drivers for it, updated my bios and reinstalled drivers.. but still the same problem. Maby its directX?

Also when playing horrizontal movements blur peoples name tags where as vertial movements dont. I think theres a rendering problem there.

I'v added WoW to execptions on windows firewall (which is set to off anyway) just cant think of whats causing this lag.

My HDD space is at critical.. iv got like 3gigs outa 250 left but thats not a prob is it? recently defragged to no avail.

My internet is running at 2k Down 280kb/s up.. which is normal. Hmmm Ram maybe? how would i test that? or CPU? Overheating? got a CPU fan case fan and PSU fan in there so dunno. Any ideas? Thankies

I freed up 30Gig, so had 17% left tryed Defrag and half the stuff didnt defrag =S

Also, i cant play thief deadly shadows.. System requirements are Athlon XP 2500+, 512, DirectX 9b compatible Gcard. I meet and exceed the requirements but im getting like 3-5 FPS which makes the game unplayable.. EVEN on lowest G settings =| I'm sure something is wrong. Any ideas?
