Subject: Rise of Nations won't run...OS: Windows XP ProCPU/Ram: Pentium 4/512 MB |
Comment: Hey all, I've got a problem with RON. It ran well before, but after applying the patch (v. 1.03), it doesn't come up. I double-click the icon, and i get the hourglass indicating that Windows is busy, but then...nothing. Could it be the patch? One more question: is it possible to play an online game where one person (the host) is using RON: Thrones and Patriots and the other is just running the orginal RON? Thanks in advance for your answers. Max

Reply: (edit)Yeah that sounds like a patch problem Max. You could try the RON website FAQ's or contact them for support. I'd imagine that it isn't possible, I have both of the games and know that there isnt much difference in the two games. Can't you both just play RON? Plus you'd probably need the patch to play it. RON is a good game eh! GeForce FX5200 128Mb AMD Barton 2800 Asus A7N8X E-Deluxe AERO 7 LITE CPU fan 512 DDRAM PC2700

Reply: (edit)RON is an excellent game! Try reinstalling the patch before every time you play. OR grab a no-cd crack, that usually fixes the problem you have. -Avarik nomoresnsleft3 - AIM
