Hello.

I have an old PC game called Re-Volt (RC car racing, 1999) that i installed on my system. the installation went ok and i tried to play it. it loads the files and when it reaches the files relating to graphics cards it stops loading and beeps.

the problem is caused by either graphic card drivers or direct x drivers. i have a GeForce 6800GT card. the game comes with dx 6.

i have tried to run in compatibility modes, 256 bits, 16 calours but still the same problem.

any idea on a solution?

I'd put my money on Windows Vista. Have you tried running it under XP?

I wish my lawn was emo so it would cut itself.

it runs on my friends Windows XP machine.

however, on the Vista machine under windows XP compatibility mode does not run (neither under any other compatibility mode)
