Ok my nephew is here for the holidays. he told me to install his lord of the ring return of the king game. but when I click on it to start it (icon on desktop)it mentions that my direct3d is not blabla and that LOTR will close. Im no expert but I have Xp home edition and a 128mb video card. I did a diag and tested my direct 3d and the tests were successfull. I also have the latest or so i think direct x. Anyone knows ? Tried to upgrade my driver for the card but it told me i already had the latest.... I went on the software website and i believe my computer is good enough for it(3.2ghz and over 190 GB free)...help my nephew is driving me nuts! Newbie ARG!

You really didn't provide enough info. Can you be more specific about your hardware specs? I can only guess that your system doesn't meet the minimum requirements. Integrated graphics or an actual video card?

that i dunno. like i said im no expert. this is a gateway 702 ge. i did a dx diag to be able to know it was a 128 mg card and also to check if the 3d was working. other then that i have no clue. I think it mentions its a intel 82915g 910gl card. hope that helps if more info is required tell me how to get it!BTW if u guys can figure out if this card is not enough then could u mention to me a cheap replacement. Hes here for 2 weeks. 1 day without his game seems to be tragic! so two weeks... Newbie ARG!
