Retrolink game pad won't work

November 16, 2010 at 05:50:59
Specs: Windows XP
I recently bought a retrolink game pad which looks like an old NES controller.
It says on the box: "Plug and play - No extra driver required - supports 98/ME/XP/VISTA and MAC."

I am currently running windows XP.

I'm playing roms on a Nestopia emulator. The keyboard works but my game pad won't!
When I plug it in, it notifies me that the device is connected and I went into the control panel and tested my game pad and it works fine.
I went to my device manager and there are no yellow marks or anything.

I realise some games may be a keyboard only game or a bad dump but it doesn't work on ANY game I have.

I can't figure out what I need to do and if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.

Never mind. I just didn't configure my game pad.
