Randomly replacing parts is not troubleshooting.

The 1st thing you need to do is turn off the automatic restart feature. That way, if your problem is software related, you'll get an error message that will give you a clue as to what the problem is.

You also need to monitor your CPU temperature. An overheating CPU can force a reboot or a shutdown. Check your BIOS to see if there are any temperature threshold settings...it may need to be increased. Who installed the CPU on the new board? Did you use fresh thermal paste when installing the heatsink? Proper application of the paste is critical...a tiny dab about the size of a grain of rice is all it takes.

Another possibilty is the power supply. Gateway/eMachines is notorious for using garbage units by Bestec. If you've upgraded your system at all, such as adding a gaming video card, you may be pushing the PSU beyond it's capacity.

we replaced the power supply then the motherboard because of lightning, when we upgraded the motherboard the games that was put on is when the computer started restarting was told by qualified computer guy that we needed a different video card to play the 3d games, we did that and we are still having the problem.. we have started uninstalling the games hoping that would fix it ...we had all the work done by qualified computer guy and when we still had problems took it to another qualified tech guy checked out good. has not given a error and the automatic restate is undone.. Thank you

It looks like a Power Supply problem.
