Recommend a graphic card!

Specs: Windows 7, Pentium E5400/2GB DDR2 800Mhz
Hi all,

Here I am yet again, and this time too I have a question that I would like to ask esteemed members of this wonderful community for your opinion on the following.

But before that, here's my full pc config.:

Intel Pentium E5400 (no overclocking)
ASUS P5G41C-M LX
Kingston DDR2 PC6400 2x2GB
Primary HD: WD 500GB (Green something)
Secondary HD: WD 250GB (both SATA II)
Samsung DVD 16x DVD writer (laster firmware installed)
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Service Pack 1

My younger brother wants to play games like Call of Duty Black Ops, Need for Speed, etc which my onboard G41 graphics simply cannot load.

Could somebody recommend me a mid-level graphic card which should be of fairly latest tech, like, nvidia 4xx family or AMD 5xxx family, and should not draw too much power nor heat.

I currently have a 350W SMPS. Any recommendation on that one?

I am eagerly looking forward to receiving some wonderful suggestions from expert members around the world.

Thank you in anticipation of your replies.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am currently considering HD 5670 as you suggests and Nvidia gt240. Planning to buy it this weekend.

the gts 450 is more powerfull and good for some future proofing.so it won't get outdated that fast unlike the HD 5670.plus the gts 450 will blow away the HD 5670 in performance.go with the GTS 450 if you want quality gaming.the GTS 450 has a better version of openGL then the HD 5670.Plus NVIDIA is a better card maker than ATi.and the GTS 450 has got a better core clock then the HD 5760.Buy the GTS 450 if you want a good graphics card unlike the HD 5670

Well, geforce will give much better performance than radeon . and it will not require much maintenance than other graphics card. then u should go with GTS 450.

of course the gts450 wins. thats not the point, the point is he will have to upgrade his psu for it and pay 60 dollars more. thats the whole point.
see if i care its his money, we just give him advice and we gave him a good card(HD 5670 without upgrading a psu) plus @masterofnocrack i appreciate u showing ur nvidia fan thing, ur not the only one. i hope u got the point
