The recommended specs can get you by. I have a friend in our Clan that is playing the game with LESS. I'm not sure how he can handle it because I and many others alike have found that 1gb RAM is okay but 2gb RAM is much better. One of my gaming machines has a 3200+ Venice and a 6800GS. Both overclocked and I still cannot reach the performance I would like.

Im going to assume you're talking about star wars. I've seen it run fine on a 1.6 Ghz AMD Duron with a Radeon 9700 Pro and 512 MB Ram. I would lean towards 1GB RAM, a Radeon X800 and a AMD AthlonXP 3200+.
