Hi I want to know what bin and iso files are. I understand they are image files from discs. Is this correct, what is different about them? Do you just burn them to a cd and then all the files located in the iso or bin file do they display when you go to windows explorer and view the contents of the disc or must you do more? I have nero 5.5.9.9
thanks

Just double click on the file (iso or bin) and that should open it up in Nero. Burn it and you end up with a copy of the CD the image was made from.

They are just different image file types. In your version of nero I believe file/burn image will get you burning either image file. Once you burn them, you'll have a cd that "appears" exactly the same as the cd the image was created from.

if double clicking the iso file does not work, go into nero and click file --> open -->(location of the iso file), and go...

this will burn a cd image of the file..

with .bin files, you will need a .cue file which are instructions of sorts for nero or a variety of cdwriting apps...

if you have the cue file, use the aformentioned instructions, ensuring that the cue and bin file are in the same location.
