Reply: (edit)"It does it with every game I have" Sounds like you have a weak power supply. How many watts is it? How many amps are on the +12v rail(s)? What brand is it? If you don't know, remove the side panel & get the info from the label on the side of the PSU.

Reply: (edit)Download Ultimate BootCD 3.4 Basic, burn it to CD and boot to it. Test your RAM with Memtest. My fiancee had the same problem except it happened about 5 minutes during gameplay in The Sims 2. I gave her my RAm than a few months later I Memtested her RAM, it passed and she hasn't had problems since.

Reply: (edit)"I gave her my RAm than a few months later I Memtested her RAM, it passed and she hasn't had problems since." I'm not sure that makes any sense. Anyways I was playing Company of Heroes and it blue screened instead.

Reply: (edit)it could be a driver issue.. or perhaps you changed some sort of graphic setting? try reinstalling the driver to the latest and set it to the defaults. Could be a overclocking/BIOS issue... did you change any BIOS setting or try to overclock the cpu/graphic card? Power Supply issues are possible.. but that would be the last thing i'd check.

Reply: (edit)The power supply is probably clogged with dust/dirt and is dieing... i know mine was when I had this issue. (NEVER AGAIN!!!) Report back with what brand and how many amps on the 12V rails and we can tell u if it may be cause of dodgeyness...lol I would still stay its the PSU over graphics settings or bios issues... The computer is restarting not giving distorted images or blue screening. Reply: (edit)It says something called "Cyber Power" Came with the case. I cleaned out all the dust with compressed air like 3 months ago so I think there will be no point into taking out my hardware again and cleaning it out. However, I will try downloading the drivers again and see if that works out. My Current 12V trail is 12.03 " I'm having such a hardware of a day! "

Reply: (edit)A few months ago, I've noticed that my computer suddenly "weakened". That is, it cannot run powerful programs anymore. Including The Sims 2. If I try to run any game, it restarts, and when after it reboots, I get a window which tells me that I need a BIOS upgrade. Stuff begun to disappear too. Namely codecs. DVDs which used to play beautifully on my computer, no longer play. And the system will either crash programs or restart the system whenever programs become too powerful for it to deal with. Hell, I can't even save a low quality 4 minute film with Windows Movie Maker anymore. As far as I've checked, I have no viruses, and although I have a few background tasks (printers, anti-virus software), it was NEVER a problem before. Can anybody help?! I think I'm having the same problem as the OP. And yes, I've tried System Restore, but it didn't help at all.

Reply: (edit)Thank you, Jam! I Bought a new great 350 Watt PSU. All my games run smoothly without the dreaded BSOD. And to people who also need help. You may have a faulty PSU. The ones you get with a cheap case are usually not good. And thanks again, Jam.
