Comment:

hi, recently my system reboots whenever i try to play a game, it loads into the game and i click to start and it reboots. i have a leadtek 6600gt 20th anniversary edition.

when it arrives back in windows i get a error report message which indicates the errors to these two files:
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini041206-07.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\Ted\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER2.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml

i have upgraded the apg and graphics card drivers and still have this problem. any advice is needed!

thanks

Someone else may be better to explain the issue, but I found this on Microsoft's website and it may help you figure out the problem for yourself.

ok, I think I know what it is, i installed a VIA AGP update that was on my driver cd for my 6600gt and it flashed the bios n so on. now when it boots up i have a new screen at the start which i never had before says leadtek and stuff, i cant read it cause it only shows for a second. then it continues and detect my ide n all that.

it was fine before i installed this, and i noticed that since it has been installed i cant alt + tab while in a game or my computer will reboot.

if i installed the wrong agp update would it cause my computer to reboot as it is now?

thanks

You updated off of the driver CD? Have you tried downloading the latest driver updates from the LeadTek website or the nVidia website?

"If it ain't broke don't fix it"...does that work here?
