As u can see from my sig i hav 400mhz ram, but i just noticed 2day when i went into the bios and it showed the start up stuff and said my ram was running at 333mhz i think (its the lower speed than 400mhz)
Ive looked in the bios and cant see where i could change it? I know my mb supports it?
Any ideas..

Asus P4P800S mb
P4 2.4Ghz (800Mhz)
1Gb DDR3200 Ram
Asus Geforce FX 5600 128mb

Ok ive just opened my case and checked each stick incase i got a dodgy deal when i bought the ram.
1st stick is Kingston and it has 400 / 2.6v or wateva so im assuming thats DDR400
2nd stick clearly says DDR400 on it, but i think its a cheaper brand.
At the start up it says the RAM is running at 320mhz.
Why would it be doin this, as my mb definately supports 400mhz ram. Do i hav to change sumthin to make it run at this speed? Or should i not bother? although then it would hav been stupid to buy the 400Mhz RAM if it wont even run at that speed?

Did you try one stick at a time to make sure the store didn't give you pc 2700 instead of 3200? That happened to me before, it clearly said on the ram pc 3200 but I figured out it was actually pc 2700 and I threw it back at the store manager :D.
Asus P4P800
P4 2.4@2.8 Ghz
Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu HSF
ATI Radeon 9800 pro
1 GB OCZ pc 3500 ram
Sound Blaster audigy LS

ok, ive just taken each one out and ran the other 1 at a time.
- ValueRam 2.6v Kingston (KVR400X64...)
- KDATA DDR400 2.5vStrange thing is they both run at 400Mhz when there only buy themselves, i tried them both in the 2 slots so 4 ways and they always run at 400Mhz.
BUT when i put them BOTH back in no matter which slots they run at 320Mhz ?? :(
I looked in the bios and under the _Advanced Chipset Settings_ I have:- Configure DRAM Timing by SPD [enabled]
- Memory Excelleration Mode [Auto]
- DRAM Idle Timer [Auto]
- DRAM Refresh Rate [Auto]I couldnt really find any other relavent stuff towards RAM settings.
I dunno wat to do...

I don't know how to solve things exactly, but I can tell u one thing: KData mem is the worst mem u can get. I had it installed in 3 pc's and no matter what, all mobo's wouldn't work with it. When i install Corsair mem ... woow: it works!
Furthermore, using 2 kinds of memory in one setup might just not work because of incompatibility. Most simple solution:
buy another ValueRam 2.6v Kingston (KVR400X64...)

Go to the INTEL site and download their chipset identity tool. If you have the 848P chipset, It only supports up to DDR333.
