i have an asus pc model cm5571-br003 with a 300 watt power supply. i want to put this graphics card in but i dont think i have the ps to run it ok. power supply is delta electronics model# GPS-300AB
output peak 300watt rated 250watt
+12V1-10a max 12v2 14a max
+5v-18a max
3.3v-16a max
can i run this card or do i need another ps?

currently im running a nvidia xfx 9400gt and its running great but i want better graphics...

i have another power supply
its a dell ps 350 watt
2 12v rails says 18a each rail....would that work if the 300watt wont??

also i really dont have the cash to get a new power supply so if neither of these works ill have to finds a decetn card that will run on 1 of the 2 ps's i have already. ty

The Delta is a little on the weak side.

The Dell PSU is strong enough, but make sure that it uses standard ATX wiring before you use it.

i looked it up and it does use atx wiring. only prob is the largest connector to the motherboard is really tight....i dont want to yank it out and mess it up. pressing the clip down so that it should just lift out like it did when i removed the dell ps from the dell case doesnt seem to help...ugh any suggestions cos this would have been done by now. oh and why do ppl say that the wattage on a ps doesnt matter as much as the amps on your 12v rails? dont know a whole lot about electricity...
