Think your Power Supply might not be up to the job. 300 Watt realy isn't enough for this beast of a card so my guess would be that it was struggling to keep up then maybe your CD Rom drive kicked in for a spinup and pushed your Power Suply over the edge.

Hopefully that's all you've blown. When you say "it won't turn back on" are there any lights on anywhere I.E. Drive activity, <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=22&k=mother%20board" onmouseover="window.status='mother board'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">mother board, <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=22&k=floppy%20drive" onmouseover="window.status='floppy drive'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">floppy drive. Does it get to the post screen or is it all totaly dead.

I agree with the previous followup. It's probably your power supply, I would recommend buying at least a 400. You can get them a resonable price now, but if want something quiet and smother, you might to spend a little more money.

P.S. like the guy said.. hopefully that's all that is gone now and other parts too..

Good Luck
