Hey ppl =)

I got my pc this time last year and it was ok bk then, it played all the games i liked.
But l8ly ive been playing F.E.A.R and at times it seemed like my PC was ready to Blow. Im not a really smart guy when it comes to building computers and i only no enough to get by but im thinking I need a new GC. i was browsing yesterday and saw the (Hightech Radeon X1900XTX 512mb GDDR3 PCI-E ) for about 300 plus VAT. But i dunno if thats a good card, and so was wondering if u guy's could recommemd a good one for me.

My buget is around £250-300 thats about $500 i think so any help would be great.

Thx in advance

That's probably a bit overkill for your system. I'd probably go with an Nvidia 7900GT which runs about $300 USD. You simply don't have the CPU power to justify getting something higher end than that.

And don't forget the need for a decent power supply.
