I currently have a Sapphire Radeon X1600Pro video card, with 256 MB of memory and it's the AGP, non-crossfire version. I was thinking of purchasing a PNY GeForce 7600GS video that has 512MB of memory that is also AGP. (My current motherboard doesn't support PCI-E and I want a new video card that will last me at least another 1-2 years).
Am I better off sticking with the ATI card, or purchasing the GeForce card? I tried to look for benchmarks online, but didn't find anything that compared them directly. It seems like the ATI has a faster clock, but the Nvidia card has twice the memory.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I play World of Warcraft the most and so whichever card would perform better.
Thanks
My Rig:
Pentium 4 3.2GHz
1.5GB of RAM
250GB SATA 7Krpm, 16MB cache
Win XP Pro, soon to be Vista Ultimate

If you think you are likely going to be holding on to the system for another while.
Go for a 7600GT instead.
