I found Omega drivers for one of my Radeons, and was wondering if Omega drivers work better than the manufacture's drivers? Are they specifically optimized for gaming?

Yes, the Omega drivers are far better that the manufacturer's drivers.

I wouldn't say that they're "far" better. Depending on what games you play, you may see an increase in preformance but don't expect like a 50 FPS gain or anything.
