Hi,
I'm the admin for a school. There are 10 networked PCs with following specifications:

Windows 2000, 256 MB RAM, P3-1200 MHz, 40 GB HDD, No CD-ROM drives, 100mbit network. S3 2000 Video Card (32 MB, useless for DirectX games)

I would like to run some network games on these machines, possibly racing so the children could race against other students. I tried installing Need 4 Speed (an old version) but it said I need Win98 etc.. could anyone help me find some games that are fun to play on a network and do not require a good 3D card (or that can be run in software mode) ? The students are ages 7-12 and installing Quake 1 is out of the question (no killing games :( )

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

You're pretty limited because of the video on those machines. Would "board" games be out of the question? I.e. Monopoly, risk, yahtzee, etc.?

My coworkers and I at my last job like to play a little Risk during lunch.
