i plan to buy a wide screen monitor. but the thing is, some games dont have wide screen option, so will the image/graphic/video stretch? is anyone using wide screen monitor? does the video/image look weird? thanks

Yes the image will be stretch if you monitor scaling mode or display adapter mode. But if you are using centered mode, then the image will be not stretched but you can't fully use the whole LCD screen. i.e the right and left side of the screen are black...

ohh.. what kinda monitor du guys use? wide screen? LCD? CRT? i am still using CRT for gaming. and since i am gonna move to a smaller room, this will be my 1st LCD monitor. i wonder what is a good gaming LCD monitor? should i look for the respond time? like buying a PC, first to check is its CPU speed, then ram or stuff like that. what about gaming LCD? what should i check 1st? thanks

I'm Using a Xerox XM3-19W which is a 19inch widescreen moniter. I do a heck of a lot of gaming and I've never played a game which doesn't use the full screen. I use a Res of 1152X864.
