Hey Im Having problems connecting to a mulitplayer room in quake 3 arena. I bought quake 3...downloaded q3pointrelease_132.exe installed that...and all of the multiplayer rooms connect except for the one i would like to connect to most. Everytime i try...it starts to connect, but then suddenly it stops and says "server uses protocol version 43". HOW DO I FIX THIS?GREATLY Appreciated!

there are several different patches for quake.the install is version 1.11 then patches are 1.16n 1.27g 1.32 just to name a few.you need to find out what version the server is running then install that patch.each patch on a server will report a different protocol number.it may be nessasary to do TWO totally differnet installs of quake each with different patches.thats what i have done
