Let's take a turn into the Sony playstation. "Sony Playstation 3"

What about the PS3:
Will it be too late for Sony to do anything about M$. With its plans to release the PS3 in late 2006 and it might be even pushed back to 2007, does Sony stand against the Giant of them All?

2005-The Xbox 2 projected yr of release.

2006 to 2007-Sony announces there release date for the PS3.

Check out these few links and read.

What do you all think.
Can Sony keep pace with M$, or will it slowly fade like it did to Nintendo??
Is Sony slowly fading now??
Is there someone else out there that can stand up to M$??

I, for one, would love to Sony or Nintendo (i can keep hoping on Nintendo to make a comeback :o) ) or someone take Bill Gates on, and am hoping that the PS3 can do something about it.

I hate to see that we all would have to refer to one business for everything.

This is just the start to Bill Gates Madness. Next he will take over your home appliances saying that "if you dont have this high powered toaster, then your toast just wont taste great" it's toast, who cares.
Then he will work his way up, eventually leading to him owning every professional sprots team in America.

Before you know it, you'll be referring to the New England Patriots as the Microsoft Silicon Chips, or the Chicago Bears as the Microsoft Memory Modules.

Okay, maybe i am being over zelous here, but you get my point.

You can be amused by the simplest of things.

Or perhaps Snony will launch the PS3 a year or so later so they have time to dismantle and test a retail XBOX2 to its limits and come up with something much better for less money, just like car companies do?

After all, the XBOX1 was launched after the PS2 and had more processing power etc, so now Sony is going to do the same back to Microsoft, Therefore, Microsoft will get 2005 to themselves, but Sony will take 2006 and the following years until it's time for the XBOX3 and PS4 (or whatever they'll be building next).

I would imagine that hardcore console fans will buy both anyway.

Sony also has more experience with electrical component innovation than Microsoft and has most of it's fingers in other pies such as studio recording, TV's, CD players etc etc etc...

Nintendo and Sega just made consoles, Microsoft Just does consoles and software.

sony has too large a following to dissapear(isnt that what we said about nintendo?)
and they have too many great games for their platforms to fade away now

and in the world of consoles the games are the deciding factor between a saga saturn and a sony playstation

common sense isn't very common
