Reply: (edit)Buy a router. It's cheap, doesn't rely on your PC being up and running to play, increases your network security, and allows you to easily add PC's or other networking devices to the network. "...but in my defense, it was dark, I was drunk, and it was delicious!"

Reply: (edit)You plug the router to the modem, and the router has a four ports. Therefore, you could plug in your PC and PS2, and still have 2 ports left, which on any of those ports you could uplink a switch to add more ports. The other good thing with a router is not a single device on your network is exposed without firewall protection unless you do a special configuration on your own. It's definitely a safer, faster, and more reliable way to go. "...but in my defense, it was dark, I was drunk, and it was delicious!"
