Hello everyone this is my first time posting on this forum. I have come here because I am running out of ideas on how to fix my computer. Recently when ever I try to play any 3D game it will stutter, this started happening a couple weeks ago and it went away for a little while and now its back again. My system spects are the following:

Intel Core 2 Duo 3.00ghz processor

CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800

ASUS P5N-D NForce 750I SLI LGA 775 motherboard

Thermaltake Tough Power 750 Watt powersupply

Ultra Chilltec Thermo CPU cooler

2X XFX Geforce 8800GT 512mb

and Windows XP Professional

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

-Cheers

I have run the crap cleaner, avast, advance system care 3,avira antivir, defragged and games still start to stutter immediately when I run them. I did notice that the games sound seems to be more laggy then the video, could out of date audio drivers cause this problem? Any input is welcomed. -Cheers

yeah absolutely bad sound drivers could cause this problem.

are you running two antivirus programs at the same time (like, AVG and Avast)? that'll give you problems too...

I've been running Avira, Avast, and Advance System care. I didn't know that they cause problems if they are run at the same time. Why do they cause problems, and is it ok for me to run them one after another or is just having several installed a problem?

-cheers
