I've recently been having problems playing games online. I had 1 computer at first, but I had Quick Books on the computer, and I didn't want to mess it up by accidentally downloading a virus or something like that. So I bought another cheep computer just for Quick Books and to go on the internet if I need to. So I bought a Linksys router so that I could have both of my commuters on the internet, plus I have the Internet Adaptor for my Playstation 2 so I hooked it up to the router too. Anyways, on my computer that I'm using for games, I started reinstalling games. First game I reinstalled and was playing for a while, was Star Wars Galaxies, it was working fine, but I stopped playing it after a while. So after that, I installed Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield to test out my new video card (I upgraded from a GeForce 2 MX 400 to a GeForce FX 5200) and it worked. That was about 1 and a half to 2 months ago. Now I bought Rainbow Six 3: Athena Sword and neither it nor the original Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield work. So I bought it back to EB Games and exchanged it for Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and it doesn't work online either but it (and both of the Rainbow Six games) work fine in single player. (BTW, I just read thought what I have typed and I realized it my be unclear. I bought had the new video card first and things were working fine, it was after I bought the router that things started to get messed up). So does anyone know what I can do? I talked to friend and he thought it was a router problem and told me to put my router on DMZ mode, so I did that but it had no effect. Thanks in advance.

More than likely you have a blaster worm virus you should call microsoft and have them help you fix your computer.

Go to the symantec webbie download the blaster remover, scan ur machine for all known vareints, apply MS blaster patch, done. Saves you getting ripped off by calling microsoft, should it be the blaster virus in the first place.
