Problems installing diablo 2: LoD

Is there any way to "bypass" the "you must install diablo2..." screen that appears when trying to install LoD? I have got diablo 2 installed on my computer but it is a cracked "backup" copy of the game. LoD is on the original cd tough.

Did you ever put in a CD key for D2? Because I think LoD checks for the original CD key and then installs which might be the problem with your "back up" copy.

no it doesnt check the cd-key its your crack diablo problem get the oringal diablo not the crack 1 then reinstall it.
