I cant decide on a P4 core to use to play GTA: San andreas

I am debating between the prescott or northwood cores. It would be either a 3.0 or 3.2ghz (possibly a 3.4ghz) with an 800mhz FSB. I just want to know which CPU would make the game perform better. I have heard the northwood is better for some games and the prescott is better for others. Which would be better for Grand theft auto San Andreas?

Thanks

Too expensive my ass. ^_^ AMD's price/performace ratio is waaay better than Intel can even imagine. AMD is just incredible.

Anywho... as for the 3.0 versus 3.2, why cant common sense answer that one? :P

But as for Northwood vs. Prescott... now thats debatable. Imo, I'd go for the Northwood. Why? Because Prescott runs extremely hot and consumes ungodly amounts of power. I aint been an Intel user since 2 years ago, but the Northwood core was cool and stable when I had a 2.8c back in the day.
