Hello,
I am currently using an almost-stock Compaq
HP SR2050NX computer, with upgraded RAM
and Graphics Card. I added an addition 1GB,
summing up to 2GB of total RAM. The video
card I am using is a GeForce 9400 GT.
The problem I am currently experiencing is low
frame rates in ultra settings. My buddys told
me I should have no problem running this card
with ultra settings, and it is unplayable in
them. I currently use the low performance
settings and get very low framerates in dalaran
and orgimmar. Is my PSU holding my video
card back, or do I need another video card?
I believe the PSU is 300W.
Thank you in advanced for your response.

The 9400GT is not a very good gaming card & if the one you have uses 64-bit memory instead of 128-bit memory, that makes it even worse. I think you may be expecting too much from it.

Bobbygravelle.....in my opinion you should sell off the compaq machine and invest in a motherboad with pci-e slots for a better gaming experience.pci is and has been a dead interface for quite some time.in my opinion you would be much better off with getting rid of the compaq and starting fresh.

hope this helps.
