I really enjoy eaglered. i've played it at pc gaming outlets here in my country and i would like to install it on my pc. I have red alert 2 ver 1003 and yuri's revenge expansion pack ver 1000. i have the most recent update for red alert 2 which is 1006 and for YR which is 1001. Now my problem is how to use the update. i tried reinstalling RA2, then i put the update in the RA2 directory and double clicked on it but a message that says (missing or invalid registry/ini entry) keeps on appearing. I also get a message (old file not found. however, a file of the same was found. no update done since file contents do not match.) whenever i try applying the update. The same exact thing occurs with the update of YR. I downloaded eaglered ver 1.8 and its requiring me to have YR ver 1001 before i can install it. pls help!?

my advice is to start fresh. Uninstall Eaglered from Add/Remove Programs and delete the directory folder as well. Reinstall Eaglerd and download the update again. What I would usually do is download a update file and make a new folder to put in.

o.O oops sorry heh i was in a hurry and didnt quite read your post. first reinstall eaglered even if you did it more than twice. second, try finding updates at another site and extract them into a folder(in desktop is recommended).

Something’s wrong here. When you install the Yuri's Revenge explanation, it automatically updates Red Alert 2 to the latest version. This means you then ONLY need to install the Yuri's Revenge patch to get it up-to-date. I haven't got a clue what "YR Eaglered" is, so I don't know its requirements.

[d]lod152, i already tried that but no luck. fgt67, thats my problem it doesnt automatically update. and when i try to do it manually i get the error message. buy the way YR eaglred is Yuri's Revenge mod.
