I was on my mommy's laptop and I ran remote desktop to connect to my PC. When I connected I decided to play a game on an NES emulator. when I ran the emulator the game ran with an absurd amount of lag. I was planning on playing some PC games using that connection but with the lag its just not worth it. Is there a way to fix that or is that just the way it is?

There's no way to make it faster. Remote Desktop isn't meant for gamming. It's meant to access another computer from a distante. Basically, the way Remote Desktop works is sending you pictures of the computer far away through the internet to your computer as fast as the internet is capable of doing and shows you what you're doing and where your mouse is going. Games have a high Frame Per Second rate and the Remote Desktop isn't setup for this. I did it between two computers, in my own house, both on cable and it was still not able to do games. Sorry buddy, out of luck.
