I have Sim City 3000 Unlimited and backed it up to another CD by copying it once I got it. The probelem is, the original CD broke. When I try to run from the copy of the game, it loads up to the autoplay menu, and when I click to play, it says, "Please Insert the Correct CD and press Ok to restart the game." How do I a) avoid this message and b) NEVER SEE IT AGAIN. I have tried reinstalling with the copy of the game, and that worked, but it still won't play, getting the error above.

Sounds like the copy you made was not an exact copy. The game uses Safedisc Copy protection. Then you need Alcohol 120, Blindwrite Clone cd or something similar to burn to disk.
Gamecopy world is a good place to look on how to backup games.
Before posting try google. Backup. Use anti virus software.

I will look at that site and see if I can play the games I have already backed up and remove the copy protection in backups for games that I will get in the future! Thanks!
