I'm having a major ping problem everytime i try to play my HL2-Counterstrike using Steam. I'm always getting kick-out by the server. What's wrong with it??? I've ran my anti-virus(no virus was found), no other program thats running while i'm trying to play the game. I have DSL connection(1mbps), P4 3.0Ghz processor, 512MB ram. I NEED YOUR HELP GUYS...

rate 4000 in console works good for me, but try rate 9999 too. Also make sure ur playing on low ping servers close to you.
Stupid question, but does it specifically say the reason you are getting kicked is due to ping? after you get kicked, go into the console by pressing ~ and see.
