If you only have PCI slots to work with, you're not gonna find many cards that are better than the 9400GT. That's not saying much though because it's really not a great card & being that it's PCI rather than AGP or PCI-express makes matters worse.

Yes...it will play CS, but you're not going to be breaking any benchmark scores. You'll have a tough time playing many new games smoothly, if at all.
