PCI or AGP? so whats the difference

Ok so I want to improve my graphics. AGP is better? or not.
Do all motherboards have AGP and PCI is not then how do i tell between the two slots on my motherboard?

AGP is better than PCI. PCI-e is better than AGP.

Virtually all motherboards have PCI. Some of those also have one AGP or PCI-e.

The white slot is a PCI. The other two are AGP. The colors might not be the same as on your motherboard.
